Clarus's cabin land deed is an area pickup, rather than a boss drop. Miette's reward type and the blue sword's formal name are not confirmed yet.
Where do you find Duskshade?
You find Duskshade at level 20 in Gloam Ruins, within Gylden Ruins. Check the opposite bridge's quest and the crying girl's three-item request before attempting the summon. Follow the ArcheAge Chronicles Duskshade boss guide for encounter details as they are expanded.
Where do you find and fight Clarus?
You start the Clarus fight by opening the doors of the small fortress in western Diamond Shores. Opening those doors also starts Keeper of the Hut.
Watch for two consecutive axe throws. Clarus can throw three axes later in the fight; the exact health threshold is not confirmed yet.
After victory, complete the quest and return to Hermit's Cabin for the cabin land deed. Exit and re-enter the cabin before looking for that pickup. Use the beginner guide if you need help preparing your equipment before another attempt.
How do you reach and beat Miette?
You reach Miette by continuing through the Battlefront Ruins cave beyond Merchants' whereabouts. Continuing starts the hostile trail and leads to the boss fight. Miette also appears under the name Malet.
Bring health potions and watch for three-hit melee combinations, leaps, and charges. With a ranged character, you can keep your distance, but you still need to watch for leap attacks. A melee evade may leave you within reach of the long broadsword. Compare ArcheAge Chronicles classes if you are choosing between melee and ranged weapons.
After victory, you receive 10,000 experience, 2,000 gold, and a blue sword. The reward type and sword name are not confirmed yet; these are listed separately from confirmed drops.
